Ordinance Number 111: states that it is unlawful for any person who is the owner or in possession of an animal to permit them to run at large; provided, that such animal shall not be deemed to be running at large if it is on a leash or under voice control of an accompanying person or if it is upon the property of the owner, or another person in possession.
Animal Licensing:
All owners of dogs and/or cats are expected to comply with Ordinance # 86.
The pet owner must obtain a license from the City and pay a fee of $10.00 per spayed or neutered pet and $25.00 per non-spayed or non-neutered pet for 3 years.
The pet owner must show proof of up to date vaccinations and whether the animal(s) is spayed or neutered.
The license is valid from January 1 to December 31.
